A very well dressed young lady in her early twenties came in to pick up her glasses. As I was dispensing them to her she gasped "I CAN'T SEE THROUGH THESE AT ALL!!!". Naturally I was concerned, as I went to remove the glasses from her face I noticed she had on color contacts. I mentioned that she had on contact lenses. She said in kind of a huff "Well the glasses are in my prescription too so I should be able to see." The kicker was .....she was a brunette.

The best one I have seen in 24 years of experience was a little old lady that lost a screw on a friday and took a needle and thread and sewed her temple back on her glasses to hold her over the weekend.. She came in my store the next monday and wanted me to replace the screw she had lost. I had a burger of a time undoing her "repair" and then had to use a screw and nut to fix it. Im sure her work would have lasted longer than mine but what do you do?...lol
